We currently offer medical, dental, vision, and long-term disability insurance to eligible employees and the City currently contributes substantially toward the cost of the eligible employee's medical and dental coverage. (City contributions will change.) Additional voluntary insurance coverage is available at the employee's option. The City currently contributes 14 percent of an eligible employee's income to his or her Texas Municipal Retirement System account.
