Job Description

Assistant Controller ($90K-$125K)


LHH Recruitment (Formerly Parker & Lynch) is partnering with our exceptional client in the real estate and development space to find their next Assistant Controller! This position offers an amazing opportunity to make an impact and work on a highly collaborative and inclusive team. This role is open due to growth and will report to the Director of Accounting and Finance. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of relevant experience in public accounting, combined with industry experience. Responsibilities:

  • Additional duties and projects related to acquisitions, dispositions, capital schedules and tax support
  • Conduct general ledger and balance sheet account analysis
  • Prepare and distribute monthly financial information for investors
  • Calculate monthly management fees
  • Prepare audit related requests


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
  • Public accounting experience
  • Experience with Yardi preferred
  • CPA highly preferred
  • Very comfortable in Excel
