Assistant Controller Jobs

Our client, headquartered in the Gallatin area, is looking for an ambitious Assistant Controller to join their team. This is one of the few positions like it available in the area and is perfect for anyone tired of commuting to downtown Nashville.

The Assistant Controller will be a key membership of the leadership team and will primarily oversee staff, complete individual work, and support the Controller. This is an in office position, but they provide UNLIMITED PTO.

The Assistant Controller will be well-compensated:

The Assistant Controller will be responsible for:

• Aid senior management in forecasting business revenue
• Support Controller in all financial matters of the organization
• Crosscheck payroll prior to processing
• Monitor and analyze balance sheets, accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Generate financial reports for senior leadership
• Monitor taxes and provide details for audits

A well-qualified Assistant Controller candidate will possess:

• 3 - 5 years experience in accounting
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
• Strong technical, analytical, communication and presentation skills
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or relevant field
