Job Description
Assists with the coaching and administrative duties of the NCAA Division I women’s beach volleyball program. Primary function is the proper instruction and teaching of the fundamentals of the sport assigned. Secondary responsibilities include recruiting prospective student-athletes as well as monitoring the current student-athletes. Other duties will include sport camp involvements as well as certain NCAA duties.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Extremely organized, self-starter, intrinsically motivated
  • Proven ability to multi-task effectively
  • Availability to work flexible work schedule including nights and weekends
  • Ability to interact effectively with coaches, administrators, student athletes and vendors
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Travel with sports teams for away contests
  • Ability to prioritize assignments and meet deadlines
  • Proficient computer skills including word processing, spread sheets and social media
  • Strong organizational, management and leadership skills
  • Proficient in all technical aspects of beach volleyball
  • Thorough knowledge of NCAA and American conference rules and regulations
Required Education and/or Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree and 2 years beach volleyball coaching experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's Degree
  • Previous coaching experience in NCAA Division I Intercollegiate Athletics
  • Professional playing experience
