Notre Dame Academy, Hingham, Massachusetts--an all-female college preparatory middle and high school educating students in grades 7-12 is seeking a full-time Assistant Athletic Director with high energy, a creative spirit, and a passion for empowering young women. Notre Dame Academy is a vibrant, Catholic learning community, sponsored by the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur. The Academy guides young women in their personal faith formation, challenges students to pursue academic excellence, and encourages social responsibility on behalf of global justice. ASSISTANT ATHLETIC DIRECTORGENERAL OVERVIEWReporting to the Athletic Director, the Assistant Athletic Director is a member of the Athletics leadership team and is responsible for assisting the Athletic Director in the vision, planning, development and execution of all interscholastic athletic programs, staff and coaches at Notre Dame Academy.
The Assistant Athletic Director works closely with faculty, staff, and coaches to deliver a holistic and integrated NDA student experience, anchored in the hallmarks of the mission of the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur. This is a full-time (12 month) position.SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES Game administrationTransportation coordinationSchedulingCollecting/posting game resultsMIAA form submissionsEquipment and Uniform ordering/issuing/maintaining Student-athlete award reports and distribution Booster Club liaisonPR/communications, oversee social media accountsOversee Health & Wellness Programming for CuvillyMaintain MIAA rules of eligibility, management, conductCreate and maintain beneficial relationships with key constituencies in the communityRaise the profile and reputation of NDA within key athletic communitiesAd hoc dutiesEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTSMinimum of Bachelor degree.
