What you’ll be doing:

  • Ensures appropriate internal risk controls are in place through the application of programs including data analysis, audits, training, and investigations.
  • Oversee investigations, interviews, and incident management system (case disposition, prosecution, restitution, etc.)
  • Implement programs designed to improve overall safe working conditions for the associates and reduce worker’s compensation costs.
  • Manages the WC claims process, in the field, and ensures compliance to the Return-to-Work efforts.
  • Managing first responder and critical response programs.
  • Supervises the operation of contractual security guard services.
  • Manages Asset Protection initiatives and programs in Supply Chain locations related to inventory loss, theft, and fraud.
  • Travel expectation up to 50%
  • Manages the Asset Protection Associate teams responsible for front line security in FCs and other locations including, hiring, training, evaluating, and making discipline decisions.
  • Works with Risk Management to analyze accident data and develop corrective action strategies.
  • Manages programs related to Physical Security including security systems (CCTV, Access Control, burglar alarm protection) and the C-TPAT program.
  • Manage workplace violence mitigation programs.
  • Participate as vital team member on major company projects.

What you bring to the table:

  • Ensures compliance to safety regulatory compliance, and training.
  • Strong background in shrink reduction and inventory integrity strategies, and internal and external investigations.
  • Understanding of physical security processes, access control, CCTV systems, emergency and critical response procedures, and safety and awareness programs.
  • Strong interpersonal, supervisory, analytical, and decision-making skills.
  • Applies best practices, standards, and processes to achieve effective system operations, efficiencies, and savings.
  • Experience managing others, handling workplace violence incidents, safety incidents and building evacuations.

Qualifications :

What’s needed- Basic Qualifications

  • Strong preference for certifications in Wicklander, OSHA 10-hour, and AED/CPR, LPC, LPQ, etc.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in the successful implementation of Loss Prevention/Shortage/Fraud Control Programs.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive loss prevention experience with supervisory responsibilities.
