Job Description

Assembly/Machine Operators

Pontiac, MI

Pay: Up to $17.35/hr

***Attendance/Hiring Bonus up to $770***

Our client in Pontiac is looking for assembly/machine operators to operate machinery and produce half shafts per work instructions, complying with all safety and quality requirements while meeting production targets.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Communicate effectively with coworkers to ensure efficient production and deadlines are met
  • Assemble products per Work instruction
  • Carry out basic quality and testing checks
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Perform other production-related activities instructed by management.
  • Monitor the production process
  • Inspect parts and components as quality criteria
  • Perform a visual inspection of the parts produced in accordance with the Work Instructions and Quality Alert.
  • Feed raw materials into machinery
  • Perform cleaning and organization of the workplace.
  • Operate machinery to assist in the production area
  • Comply with continuous training within the production department
  • Pack the final product, following work instructions
