Summary:

As an Assembly Welder, the associate will perform assembly of hoods by utilizing welding torch and manually utilizing grips and clamps.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Duties may include the following. Other duties may be assigned as deemed necessary to support quality goals and objectives.

  • Welder must be able to move and transfer hoods to skids.
  • Welder must be able to review project folder and take a parts inventory.
  • Welder must be able to transfer parts from cart to the assembly table.
  • Welder must maintain a clean and sanitary work area and follow established shop safety rules.
  • Welder must be able to complete various assembly processes and piping procedures.
  • Welder must be able to assemble parts manually utilizing grips and clamps.
  • Welder must be able to operate welding torch and weld parts to assemble hoods


Qualifications

  • Ability to work alone for extended periods and in teams.
  • Compliance with all personnel policies and practices.
  • Use simple mathematics.
  • Ability to safely and successfully perform any/all essential job functions.
  • On the job training, training, and certification in operation of heavy equipment, regular training and re-certification required.
  • Ability to meet and maintain all qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
  • Ability to maintain reasonably regular and punctual attendance.
