Performs a wide variety of electronic or electro-mechanical assembly operations on assemblies or sub-assemblies. Determines and/or follows methods and sequence of operations in performing wiring, component installation, hand soldering and cable harnessing on assembly units. Makes setups and adjustments holding tolerances to blueprint specifications. Typically requires a minimum of 2 • 4 years of related experience. • Ability to perform re-work, test and calibration of complete systems
• Hands on soldering and crimping of small intricate connector and wire assemblies is required
• Electro-mechanical assembly of computer based instrumentation machinery with emphasis on wiring, assembling and testing complete systems.
• Must be able Read blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical orders
