MKTG Sports + Entertainment is looking for an Art Director to join our creative team. The ideal candidate will be able to wear many different creative hats from developing social graphics one day to creating large-scale murals the next. You are excited by the prospect of working on award-winning sponsorship accounts, passionate about being part of a high performing team and being integral to an achieving agency.


  • Conceive and implement design concepts and strategies in various digital mediums and oversee them to completion
  • Work on multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring on-time delivery and accurate execution against creative briefs
  • Motivate and mentor junior members of the team as needed
  • Assist creative team to quickly create compelling visuals, from initial comps to final assets for digital/social, print & animation
  • Align with our Project Manager to prepare budget estimates for client projects
  • Work within brand guidelines while challenging yourself to think out of the box and elevate creative solutions
  • Support new business presentations with visual storytelling and the creation of mock-ups
  • Actively seek out inspiration, cultural and industry trends to ensure concepts are fresh and relevant


Qualifications

  • Eager to continue to evolve your skillset and expand capabilities as a well-rounded designer
  • Fluency in Adobe Programs (ie, Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, InDesign)
  • Self-starter, focused, self-motivated and ambitious
  • Knowledge and application of color theory, typography, and design principles
  • Comfortable with managing multiple projects simultaneously under tight time constraints
  • Proficiency in 3D rendering software such as Blender, Maya, or Cinema 4D is a plus
  • Problem-solving abilities
  • Experience with Microsoft PowerPoint & presentation deck design
  • Three years experience in a similar role; this could be within an agency or other creative team environments.
  • Ability to effectively speak/present in public
  • Portfolio of thoughtful work that demonstrates your conceptual abilities & design execution skills
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal skills & desire to collaborate with cross-functional teams

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $63,000 - $72,000. Salary is based on a range of factors including relevant experience, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography.
