Job Description
Overview:
WATCH GUARD 24/7 is one of the fastest growing security providers in the NY area, we are currently looking to hire an Armed Security officer (Retired law enforcement only) with an unrestricted carry and Armed security guard License for one of our premier client locations in the NYC. Please read the job description below and become the newest member of our team.

Schedule #1:
Mondays 3pm-3am
Tuesdays 3pm-3am
Wednesdays 3pm-3am

Schedule #2:
Thursdays 3pm-3am

Schedule #3:
Fridays 3pm-3am
Saturdays 3pm-3am
Sundays 3pm-3am

Location: Upper West Side - NY
Pay $38.00 per hour

WATCH GUARD 24/7 IS PROUDLY LICENSED BY THE NEW YORK STATE DEPARTMENT OF LICENSING SERVICES
Responsibilities:
  • Adhering to Client policies, procedures, and rules
  • Officer's responsibilities will generally include, but not be limited to:
  • Patrolling and monitoring location indoor and outdoor facilities to ensure the safety and well-being of students and staff and the security of the facility
  • Notifying of any emergency, potentially dangerous, or unusual situations
  • Performing any duties and responsibilities that are within the scope of employment, as assigned by their supervisor, and not otherwise prohibited by law or regulation
  • Reporting any facility issues
  • Serving predominantly as front entrance security presence and maintaining high visibility
Qualifications:
  • Must be able to drug test for employment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Retired NYPD/CORRECTIONS law enforcement.
  • Must have Proof of Covid Vaccination
  • Unrestricted carry.
  • Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and operate as a team alongside other law enforcement security professionals.
  • Armed security guard license
