We are looking for an Archivist responsible for the specific duties listed below.

Your Specific Duties Will Include

• Knowledge of archives preservation requirements, storage needs, and registration procedures for archives.
• Design and maintain organizational systems, keeping track of archived material.
• Research the collection and get background info on each and every car to compile provenance for each car.
• Catalog and organize all of the CEO's collection.
• Organize, research and review different historical records to decide how significant or valuable they are to history.
• Keep current descriptions, service records, copy of registration and insurance cards on all cars. Always know the condition and location of each car.

Specific qualifications for the position include:

• Three years of Archives experience preferred.
• M.A. or M.L.I.S. in Archives, Library Science, Museum Studies, or related field with formal training in archives management and preservation or commensurate experience.
• Experience and training in records management.
• Experience with professional archives management software and environmental monitoring applications.

Pay Rate range : $21-$29 hr

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Employees have access to healthcare benefits including medical, dental, and vision as well as a 401(k) plan.
