We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Accounts Receivable (AR) Team Leader to join our team. The AR Team Lead serves as the primary support for the AR Manager and assists in the management and oversight of the accounts receivable department in processing customer invoices and payments, reconciling trade & intercompany accounts, meeting assigned close and reporting deadlines, and managing cash collections. Supports generally accepted accounting principles and compliance with Sarbanes Oxley requirements as well as policies & procedures to promote continuous improvement in the performance of the AR department. Supports financial reporting by responding to inquiries and documentation requests from internal and external auditors.

• Must be detailed oriented and possess strong organizational skills.
• Assists A/R Manager in processing of credit memos, refunds, RMA’s and other period end transactions to support the monthly close.
• Directly responsible for assigned major customer accounts (invoicing and cash collections)
• Strong communication skills and knowledge, understanding, and experience in providing excellent customer service to A/R department customers, both internal and external.
• 7+ years of related experience in high volume Accounts Receivable environments. Public company experienced strongly preferred, as is experience in dealing with intercompany reconciliations.
• Oversees and supports direct staff on daily accounts receivable processes and procedures relating to invoice and payment processing to ensure proper coding of invoices, timely delivery to customers, and collection and application of customer payments.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business management or equivalent work history.
• Other duties and projects as assigned.
• Very strong Excel experience is required.
• Assists A/R Manager in the preparation of A/R accounts reconciliations and all A/R accrual accounts and in the preparation of A/R schedules and documentation required to support audit procedures.
