The Position:

The Aquatics Manager position with British Swim School is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the aquatics program and customer service interactions. Priorities include ensuring the British Swim School program is delivered according to brand and safety standards, instructor team management, initial and ongoing training, customer conversations as well as teaching lessons when and if necessary.This position will also require due diligence in tracking required certifications for instructors as well as continuing the employee's development and competency and skills.

Your Typical Responsibilities:

  • Assist with Interviewing and hiring, onboarding, and managing the aquatics team to maintain a smooth execution of daily aquatics and service operations.
  • Address and document employee, customer, and pool incidents that occur.
  • Creation of employee schedules, and pool lesson schedules.
  • Teach and lead swimming lessons as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills.
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products.

Preferred Qualifications(not mandatory):

  • 1+ years of customer service and/or management experience.
  • Experience in swimming and fitness teaching/management is preferred.A specialist aquatics qualification is desirable, but not required.
  • Lifeguard, CPR, and First Aid Certifications may be obtained during training.
