Join our Chemtech India & Middle East (CT INME) team within Chemtech division in India as APT - Process Engieer (Refinery).

In this role you will be accountable for:

• Coordination and approval of design, calculations from client and consultant as required.
• Design verification and validation.
• Ensure that other departments get the requisite information and assistance in time.
• Fulfil customer requirements as agreed in contract in terms of Process documentation.
• Preparation of Technical Proposals, Design basis and Study reports.
• Ensure that supervisor's approval is sought for guarantees committed to the clients.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• Shall be conversant with Heat and mass balance, P&ID, Heat exchangers.
• Simulate customer's Refinery related enquiry, using PROII or Aspen.
• Prepare Preliminary Sketch /revamp arrangement Sketch of distillation column and its internals for Engineering Department.
• Commissioning assistance of distillation column at customer's site.
• Carryout distillation column hydraulic designs using proprietary Sulzer software and internals like structured packing, high capacity trays etc.
• Minimum of 6 years’ experience with a Chemical Engineering degree.
• Assist Sales Department for preorder technical information as required by customer.
• Check GA drawings made by Engineering Department before sending to the customer from Process fitment point of View.
• Collect operating data from client for improvements, trouble shooting of distillation columns.
• Carryout liquid and gas (vapour) distributor and other column internals designs for given vapour and liquid loads using proprietary software.
• Shall be familiar with basic unit operations of Refinery.
