Los Gatos Acura, a Penske Automotive Group dealership, is looking for an Apprentice Technician to join our team and deliver extraordinary customer experiences.

As an Apprentice Technician, you will diagnose and perform repairs on all vehicle components under the direction of a senior or master Technician. This is a wonderful opportunity to begin your journey to a Master Technician career!

Pay for this position is $31/hr.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Genuine interest in providing an exceptional customer experience.
• Safe working knowledge of shop tools and equipment, with 2-5 years of collision repair experience, and ASE certification preferred.
• Strong work-ethic with the ability to work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
• Friendliness, enthusiasm, reliability, with a positive "team-player" attitude.

WHAT YOU CAN BRING TO THE TABLE

• Communication: Clearly and effectively communicate technical information regarding customer vehicles to Service Advisors.
• Safety: Understand and comply with all federal, state and local regulations that affect shop operations, such as handling and disposal of hazardous waste, OSHA, and use of safety and health personal protective equipment.
• Willingness to Learn: Be a self-starter and problem solve independently, while utilizing the knowledge and expertise of your mentor to advance your technical understanding and work experience.
• Commitment: Ensure our customers have a world-class service experience at every step along their ownership journey, especially in vehicle repairs.
• Accountability: Comply with all manufacturer standards of quality and timeliness for repairs and maintenance work, and ensure that all estimates and work orders are accurate.
