Job Description

Work Schedule :

This is a full-time, 40 hours per week, 100% remote position, scheduled to work Monday through Friday with core hours between 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. Applicants hired into this position can work most states. This will be discussed during the interview process.

We are seeking a motivated Applications Analyst – Epic MyChart who is a self-starter to:

  • Use creative skills to help increase patient satisfaction through designing and optimizing our MyChart platform.
  • Participate in the development of workflows, system configuration, application deployment and support, change documentation, and support of staff on application functionality.
  • Drive patient engagement through our highly utilized patient portal.

Education :

Minimum –

  • Two (2) years of relevant experience and education may be considered in lieu of degree
  • Associate degree in Healthcare, Information Technology, Business, Health Administration, Engineering, or related field

Preferred – Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Healthcare, Information Technology, Business, Health Administration, Engineering, or related field

Work Experience :

Minimum –

  • Demonstrated success applying critical thinking to identify problems and opportunities.
  • Demonstrated success teaching and mentoring
  • Demonstrated success in design, development, configuration, support, and adoption of small to medium to scale solutions.

Preferred –

  • Demonstrated success working on or leading initiatives that use agile methods.
  • Three (3) to five (5) years progressively responsible experience in an IS applications field.
  • Experience in information services or technology, direct clinical care, health care operations, or health care administration.
  • Healthcare subject matter expertise including at least two (2) years of experience in a health system, academic medical center, or health payer organization.
  • Experience supporting systems and/or operations in a 24x7 healthcare setting
  • Demonstrated success using, configuring, developing, or supporting the applications, tools, and platforms relevant to the position.

Licenses and Certifications :

Minimum – None

Preferred –

  • CPHIMS, PMP, ITIL
  • Vendor (e.g. Epic, Oracle, other) certifications as relevant for the position , per department guidelines
