Job Description

The Advanced Heart Failure Center (AHF) at Piedmont Hospital of Augusta is a well-established program with an excellent track record for patient success and outcomes. We are growing at a fast pace, and are looking to expand our advanced practice provider team with motivated and qualified individuals that desire to learn and grow with our program. The Piedmont Augusta AHF program provides comprehensive advanced heart failure care in both the inpatient and the outpatient setting.

The Piedmont Augusta AHF provides the following services:

  • Cardiac Transplant Evaluation
  • Right Heart Catheterization
  • CardioMems® Implantation and monitoring
  • Post COVID follow up
  • Cardiac Amyloid Care
  • Advanced Heart Failure Outpatient Clinic and Inpatient Consultative Services
  • Pulmonary Artery Hypertension Care
  • Remote monitoring for Heart Failure
  • Cardiac Biopsy
  • Genetic Screening
  • LVAD Implantation and Outpatient Clinic
  • Heart Failure Research
  • Cardio-oncology


Requirements

Required Qualifications

Nurse Practitioner Master’s Degree or higher from an accredited college or university

National Certification as a Nurse Practitioner

Licensure as an APRN through the Georgia Board of Nursing

Current American Heart Association BLS certification at the time of hire

Preferred Qualifications

More than two years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner (Not Required)

Shift/Salary/Benefits

Competitive salary commensurate with experience

Shift: Days/M-F or 7 on 7 off (work outside of the normal business hours will likely be required of an employee in an exempt level position)
