Anesthesia Technician

Performs routine duties to assist the professional nursing and medical staff.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Transports and distributes anesthetic equipment in surgical suites.

2. Troubleshoots equipment during operative procedures and makes appropriate replacements when necessary.

3. Prepares equipment and assists with invasive monitoring procedures.

4. Cleans and maintains anesthesia equipment, machines and carts.

5. Cleans, maintains and orders anesthesia supplies.

6. Performs all other duties as assigned.

High school diploma required. Prior work in a hospital and/or medical environment strongly preferred.
