Title: Android Developer I

Reporting to: Director of Engineering

Managing: N/A

Department: Development

Location: Hybrid in Santa Monica, CA or Fishers, IN - in the office 2-3 days/week

Employment Type: Full-time

The day to day

• Research and suggest new mobile products, applications and protocols.
• Stay up-to-date with new technology trends.
• Troubleshoot and debug to optimize performance.
• Support the entire application lifecycle (concept, design, test, release and support).
• Ensure new and legacy applications meet quality standards.
• Gather specific requirements and suggest solutions to the mobile team.
• Help write unit and UI tests to identify malfunctions.
• Help produce fully functional mobile applications writing clean code for the Android platform under direction of lead developers.
• Help design interfaces to improve user experience.
• Liaise with the Product development team to plan new features.

• What you've got

• Experience with mobile libraries and RESTful APIs.
• 1-3 years of mobile development experience.
• Demonstrable knowledge of the Android sdk.
• 1+ years of Android development experience.
