  • Experience with tagging or ad operations is nice to have
  • 1+ years of relevant experience in an advertising agency, professional services, big data, technology, or analytics environment
  • 1+ years’ experience in digital and campaign reporting, data operations, business intelligence and/or optimization development
  • Ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority; extensive involvement on projects including offshore, technology, operations, vendor and/or agency teams preferred
  • BS/BA in Business, Marketing, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant field
  • Ability to lead product demonstrations and respond to request for information questions; prior support of strategic alliance, sales, and/or new business pitch efforts preferred
  • Experience supporting Solutions Engineers, Technical Account Managers, and/or Salesforce Developers highly preferred
  • Understanding of business intelligence technologies; direct use of PowerBI, Looker, Tableau, Alteryx, and/or Datorama preferred
  • Experience with ad technology or media activation is a huge plus
  • Understanding of the application of programming/query languages for business intelligence purposes; fluency in Python, JavaScript, CSS, and/or SQL preferred
  • Direct experience with advertising technology platforms, marketing automation, data visualization, cloud technologies, and/or project management tools preferred
Responsibilities
Position Overview
The Marketing Intelligence team is responsible for supporting new reporting pipelines, oversight of performance reporting engagements, and ensuring proper integration into business intelligence technologies. This role will work in tandem with (and in support of) agency leads to ensure success and ownership across their entire client portfolio, while supporting advertiser-specific customization, technology, and data requirements.
Marketing Intelligence Functions Include
  • Account & Agency Support – support new business/renewal/upgrade efforts, develop account plans with agency stakeholders, and assist in accurate financial tracking
  • Taxonomy & Naming Conventions – advise on best practices, support agency rollout, and develop governance reporting to monitor compliance
  • Business Intelligence Engineering – support the design, creation and management of complex performance reporting systems leveraging automated APIs, ETL and dashboards
  • Best Practices & Training – develop standard operating procedures, produce applicable solution/feature documentation, and evangelize the benefits of reporting automation across the holding company
  • Technology Evaluation – assess existing reporting infrastructure, lead evaluation of new technologies, and develop optimal solution design
  • Insights & Optimization Recommendations – use machine learning and human analysis to discover and share insights and optimization recommendations for agency teams to implement with a focus on digital performance channels
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expertise across data sources to drive development of governance solutions (processes, technologies, etc.) to ensure achievement of service-level agreements across accuracy, completeness, timeliness, and access rights
  • Drive the vision for performance reporting solutions to ensure Omnicom’s capability is competitive in the market and leverages modern technologies, including defining new metrics, machine learning, and data visualization
  • Accountable for defining, implementing, and managing technology-driven processes that enable efficient access to usable data for analysis and presentation, while empowering agency teams to make informed decisions about their client’s business, in support of both U.S. and global accounts
  • Set up an automated taxonomy compliance system (e.g., setting up connections with digital marketing platforms, reporting, troubleshooting issues)
  • Develop innovative solutions that address performance reporting needs and lead rollout efforts across the Omnicom agency network
  • Operate as an extension of offshore Annalect teams to support successful delivery of reporting solutions
  • Relationship Management
  • Lead a community surrounding performance reporting with global Omnicom agencies to strengthen integration with and adoption of Omni’s capabilities
  • Performance Reporting Delivery
  • Acts as an internal advocate for clients and translate business goals into actionable recommendations
  • Taxonomy & Naming Conventions Focus
  • Support Product Marketing as a product SME to inform development of marketing materials
  • Performance Reporting Capabilities
  • Set up a process to resolve taxonomy compliance issues through automated alerts, email communications, meetings, escalations, and personal phone calls where required
  • Support Omni Taxonomy Builder build, maintenance and training across markets/regions as needed
  • Develop and roll-out Taxonomy and Naming Conventions trainings as needed
  • Maintain collaborative and cross-functional relationships with clients, agencies, and vendors
  • Review the taxonomy and naming conventions to ensure highest level of design for both the client and OMG to meet their business needs with a large-scale review at least once annually including feedback and challenges collected throughout the year
  • Ensure the solution delivers on-demand access to agency teams and clients in a manner that facilitates intuitive understanding and sound decision-making, be it through dashboards, reports, data services, or analytic environments
  • Deliver compliance/governance reporting both to agency and client to ensure visibility into areas of taxonomy compliance or issues

Compensation Range: $50,400 to $72,000. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, other job-related qualifications/skills, and geographic location (to account for comparative cost of living) . The Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
