Job Description
RN with clinical experience in various settings including experience with developing, coordinating, and executing training of clinic staff to ensure competency and clinical compliance. Key work will include preparing for and leading clinical precepting and competency sign off after an employee completes their FHC corporate and Ambulatory Quality orientation. Leads Convenient Care efforts to ensure compliance with clinic audits required to maintain an up to date (w/ corporate, state, and federal requirements) and safe environment for providers, staff, and patients. The RN will develop relationships with providers & staff by working “elbow to elbow” on workflow & efficiency sessions; providing P4P report assistance to manage patient care opportunities, documentation review, support during process change, onboarding or EMR upgrades. The RN will be possess the knowledge to assist with medication-care plan adherence, skills fairs, process improvement, training and perform screenings as needed. Experience with occupational health quality measures & population health preferred.
Registered Nurse with either BA or BS degree preferred, current Registered Nurse license for NC. At least five years of experience as a Registered Nurse. Five years or more of experience with physician group practice and extensive knowledge of clinic protocols. Experience with EMR software & Microsoft Office applications and experience in data processing. Minimum of 2 years’ experience with Lean and/or Six Sigma preferred. BLS required.
