Required Related Experience
Prefer advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word (specifically headings and styles)
and Adobe Acrobat (processing document tags and optical character
recognition).

Physical Requirements
Traveling between both DRC offices may be necessary. Ability to carry up to 20 lbs.

Shift
Monday – Friday- times may vary; up to 20 hrs./week; may develop into hybrid assignment.

Job Summary
This position involves converting written formats of textbooks and other course materials (PDF, Word, physical books, images, etc.) into accessible formats capable of being read by a variety of screen reader software.
During times when Alt-Text Production is slower (usually after the start of a semester) this position will assist with benchmarking research, proctoring student accommodated exams, and assist professional staff with data entry and preparation of the new DRC database system.

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
Ability to stare at a computer screen for long periods of time and stay
focused.

Current UK student; knowledge of Microsoft products specifically WORD
and Adobe acrobat.
