Airport Security Screener - Training Provided

VMD Corp is a privately-owned company providing aviation security services for the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) and privatized airports. VMD participates in the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) – Transportation Security Administration’s (TSA) Screening Partnership Program (SPP) by providing passenger, employee, and checked baggage screening services at various airports across the United States.

What you will do:
Grow in a fulfilling career as an Airport Security Screener working alongside a team of aviation security professionals. You will use your outstanding customer service and critical-thinking skills while ensuring passenger safety by identifying and preventing unsafe objects from entering onto aircraft.

Responsibilities specific to this role include, but are not limited to:

• Communicating and interacting with travelers
• Operating various screening equipment.
• Passenger and Baggage Screening

What you will need:

• Pass a computerized assessment (grammar and ability to interpret X-rays
• Pass TSA background and financial records checks
• Be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. National
• Pass a medical evaluation (vision, hearing, and joint mobility exam)
• Pass pre-employment drug tests
• Ability to work any day, Monday - Sunday and any shift between 12:00 AM and 11:59 PM
• Be at least 18 years of age
• Have a High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED)

• Hourly Wage: $18.00 per hour

Training:

• No prior experience is necessary.
• Receive on-the-job training and if applicable travel accommodations for a 2-week training session in Georgia to become a certified officer.
