Aircraft Maintenance Manager Jobs

Manages the service, repair, and overall maintenance of aircraft and to verify aircraft are safe for flight and compliant with FAA regulations.

Job duties:

- Oversees the scheduling and timely completion of repairs and maintenance ensuring budget adherence

- Assist with the overall responsibilities of maintenance department

- Participate in maintenance planning

- Maintains aircraft compliance and maintenance records

- Serve as Lead Mechanic for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance task and servicing on various aircraft as needed

- Troubleshoot unscheduled maintenance items and prioritize projects with overlapping deadlines

- Research necessary maintenance manuals for guidance and support

Work Experience

Job requirements:

- Current Airframe & Powerplant Certificate

- 5+ years’ A&P Mechanic experience

- 3+ years Heavy Maintenance experience

- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a leadership capacity

- Excellent time management and communication skills

- Avionics experience preferred

- Proficient in the interpretation of blueprints, technical orders, test equipment used in the work described above, and various aircraft components and systems
