Job Description

Ingram Industries Inc.’s aviation department is seeking talented and motivated Captain to join our team of
corporate pilots, based in Nashville, TN. Successful candidates will be able to operate our aircraft in the fleet (King
Air) with a high level of technical competence and exceptional customer service. As the most visible representative to
the passengers the candidate must act with tact and decorum while ensuring an efficient and safe operation.
What you will be doing:
  • Complying with schedules and other directives governing the aircraft’s operation
  • Providing excellent customer service to passengers
  • Acting as pilot in command (PIC)
  • Ensuring aircraft are clean and prepared for flight with all provisions on board for the safety and comfort
  • Studying weather conditions at destination, enroute, alternate airports, and departure points
  • Preparing flight plans
  • Preforming preflight inspections
of the passengers
  • Supervising the first officer, (second in command), in any duties necessary for the smooth, safe, and
  • Reviewing and calculating aircraft weight and balance, fuel requirements, and performance charts
  • Using checklists
efficient operation of the aircraft
  • Monitoring crew performance, sharing knowledge with crewmembers, and evaluating crewmember
  • Coordinating the functions of all crewmembers assigned to the flight
potential for advancement
  • Making decisions to start, delay, or cancel flights and deviate the flight from planned route or destination
when operating conditions dictate

Minimum Qualifications

What we’re looking for:
  • Ability to pilot King Air – Turboprop Twin ( 12,500 MTOW)
  • 5-7 years’ experience required
  • FAA Commercial Certificate with instrument and multi-engine ratings, ATP Preferred
  • Ability to make quick, accurate decisions
