Summary
The Augustana Early Learning Center (the Center) is an outreach ministry of the Augustana Lutheran Church (the Church) that welcomes all children regardless of faith, culture or ethnicity. The Center provides care for children in a clean, safe and nurturing environment that promotes learning and enhances the child?s well-being. We are looking for a fun, energetic individual to join our school-age team for the remainder of the school year and our summer camp program!
Duties

• Ability or willingness to drive a 14 passenger bus is a must ? a CDL license is not required
• Additional hours may be available as a floater or a science/PE teacher for our Preschool and Toddler rooms during the school year.
• Activities include group games, arts and crafts, science, drama/dance and fun field trips
• Shifts/Hours: School Year - 2:00pm-6:00pm M-Th, 12:30-6 F / Summer 8:00-5:00 Additional hours between 9-2 may be available during the school year.
• Supervising and ensuring a safe and challenging environment for our school age children

Requirements

• Strong communication skills
• Applicants must be 18 and provide written verification of at least 460 documentable hours of experience working with children 5-18.
• Committed to implementing high quality programming
• Eager to take initiative and collaborate with their team
• Applicants must be committed to being a positive role model with youth!

Nice To Haves

• Additional ECE credits are a plus.
