- Adhere to all program rules as outlined in the Staff Manual, Personnel Policy and Code of Conduct and Risk Management Manual and any other program specific guidelines.

- Assist in maintaining accurate records at all times to include

- Discipline Reports
- Adhere to policies related to boundaries with consumers
- Supervise and manage groups of school age children during eLearning and homework; lead them in physical activity games, arts and crafts, nutrition lessons, etc.
- Able to drive a 14 passenger bus, if over 20 years of age with a valid driver’s license, when programming allows.
- Develop and implement lesson plans for program times utilizing Risk management, State childcare COVID guidelines, social and emotional learning and academic enrichment activities.
- Must be at least 16 years of age.
- Adhere to job specific abuse risk management responsibilities
- Minimum of 6 months experience working with youth.
- Encouraged to participate in the YMCA’s annual support scholarship campaign.
- Incident Reports
- Attend/complete required abuse risk management training
- Supervise and ensure the safety of children at all times.
- Assist in maintaining program standards at all times in regards to Quality Check Standards and Licensing Regulations.
- Attend all required staff trainings and meetings, to include New Staff Orientation, and CPR, First Aid, Blood Borne Pathogens, and Child Abuse prevention within the first 30 days of hire date.
- Attend quarterly YMCA of Greenville Training events.
- Closing Checklist
- Be prepared for program responsibilities as assigned including lesson plans, devotions, group activities, Family Events and water activities.
- Create an environment that promotes belonging, achievement and relationships.
- Build and maintain order and enthusiasm in a group.
- Attendance Rosters Daily (Arrivals and Dismissal)
- Follow mandated reporting requirements
- Report all program changes to Site Coordinator, Youth Program Director, or Executive Director.
- Requires the ability to be a good role model and to adapt to changing needs and circumstances.
- Assists in all areas of the branch and association operations as requested by management.
- Assist in School’s Out Days, Holiday Camp and Special Events as required.
- At least one year of experience working in a childcare setting.
- Minimum of 6 credits/units in Child Development/Elementary Education or 60 hours of approved Childcare related training (Requires Documentation).
