Your Role: After-School Culinary Teacher
Are you a culinary enthusiast who adores working with children? We're seeking dynamic individuals to lead after-school cooking classes at our partner locations in Glencoe & Lake Forest. Your energy, teaching prowess, and love for food will inspire budding chefs to flourish in the kitchen. Join us in creating unforgettable culinary experiences!
Your Responsibilities
Available on Mondays 10:00am-12:00pm, Wednesdays & Thursdays 3:00-5:00pm. Additional in-kitchen hours possible on evenings/weekends.
Cultivate a warm, energetic, and consistent environment for guests.
Oversee the event's success from beginning to end.
Interact with all participants to ensure their satisfaction.
Work independently or assist in larger classes as needed.
Prepare and organize before and after each class, including setup and cleanup.
Maintain a controlled, safe, and clean learning space; provide necessary first aid.

Inherent curiosity and passion for culinary arts and entertainment.
Positive demeanor, radiating enthusiasm, and maintaining a welcoming presence.
Willingness to be hands-on and involved.
Strong communication skills with children.
Confidence in demonstrating various cooking and baking techniques and speaking before a group.
Minimum Of One Year Experience Entertaining Children And/or Adults.
Formal culinary education or relevant restaurant experience is advantageous.
Teaching experience, background in education, or childhood development is a plus.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 45 pounds.
Successful background check and first aid/CPR certification required.
