Aesthetic Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner

The LifePointe Physician Assistant-Dermatology provides cosmetic dermatology, medical and laser medical services to patients under the direction of the physician. Performs high quality clinical practices and effective patient management, under physician supervision, in accordance with state and federal regulations. Prescribes medications in accordance with state, federal and licensure guidelines. Works with a team of aestheticians, massage therapists and office support personnel under the leadership of the primary physician.

Principal Job Functions:

Graduate degree from a Physician’s Assistant program required. Current licensure in the State of Nebraska as a Physician Assistant required. Minimum of two (2) years clinical experience in aesthetics practice required. Basic Life Support (CPR) certification required.

Current Registered Nurse licensure from the State of Nebraska or approved compact state of residence as defined by the Nebraska Nurse Practice Act required. Master of Science degree in Nursing with current Advanced Practice Registered Nurse licensure from the State of Nebraska required. Certification as an Adult Nurse Practitioner, Family Nurse Practitioner or other related specialty area required. Certification with the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration for prescriptive authority required. Prior adult or family practice experience preferred. Completion of Bryan credentialing and re-credentialing process required for employment.
