Job Description

:

This position is accountable for the provision of patient care and other activities as permitted by licensure and defined within Credentialing and Privileging documentation (hospital), Credentialing and Scope of Practice (Medical Group), Consultation and Referral Plan (DOPL) or other similar documentation as appropriate. As part of that patient care, this position is accountable to: deliver optimal patient care through effective clinical practice; education of the patient, patient's family, clinical staff, and others; consultation with other healthcare providers; and maintain current knowledge regarding options for optimal patient care and outcomes.

We are searching for an Advanced Practice provider to join our Utah Valley Hospitalist Team. As a Hospitalist APP in our group, you will be trained with a formal onboarding process, have the opportunity to participate to work in a collaborative group of physicians and other APPS, and receive a robust package of benefits including medical, dental, 401K matching, and more. In addition to these benefits, you'll also be provided an annual CME stipend, an automatic SHM membership, and one additional professional membership of your choosing. In considering this position, your weekly schedule will vary and may include a mix of days, swings, and admitting shifts. Some weekends and holidays will also be required as they're shared equally among the group.

Our Hospitalist team model includes physician and APP providers managing their own panel of patients, while supporting each other by sharing information during the clinical decision-making process. This model of supportive collaboration allows APPs to practice at the top of their license while maximizing their professional development to reach their potential as clinicians. While we will consider all qualified candidates, priority consideration will be given to candidates who bring at least one year of Inpatient APP experience.
