Job Description

The CPH Coordinator will be responsible for recruitment, support, and coordination of GPTC’s Career Plus HSE program.

Recruit for CPH Program

  • Maintain CPH content on social media platforms weekly
  • Work with college marketing and public relations departments to advertise the program and recruit
  • Work to ensure community awareness by distributing flyers and promotional information
  • Receive, review, evaluate, and submit student transcripts to OAE for interested students
  • Ensure CPH content on college website is up-to-date
  • Assist students with completing CPH enrollment paperwork
  • Promote CPH to community leaders and potential students through presentations, meetings, and one-on-one sessions
  • Provide training to AE and college personnel to ensure they have full understanding of CPH to be able to promote

Support active CPH students

  • Maintain Academic Advisement Plans
  • Ensure needed Blackboard courses are ready to launch each term and that students know their teacher
  • Monitor student performance in high school classes, postsecondary courses, and progress for those completing GED/HiSET tests
  • Check in with postsecondary instructors and high school course instructors to ensure students are on track
  • Ensure student attendance for HS courses and check-ins are entered into GALIS
  • Conduct regular check-ins (monthly at a minimum) with students

Coordinate needed services/support

  • Connect students with college admissions and academic affairs for enrollment, financial aid, and advisement
  • Work with the Career Services Coordinator to ensure students receive soft skills and employment focused training
  • Connect students to tutoring for high school or postsecondary courses

Monitor and facilitate data

  • Monitor student performance to ensure timely credentialing
  • Ensure all new students are entered into Banner, GALIS, and Navigator as appropriate
  • Monitor Banner, GALIS, and Navigator to ensure student information is updated as students’ progress through CPH

Perform other duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications - External

Master’s degree

Three years of relevant experience in adult education and/or academic advising and/or recruitment.


Bachelors degree in education, business administration or a closely related field *and* Three (3) years of experience in an educational setting. Supervisory experience is required.
