Adult Ed-128 Adult/Continuing Education Literacy Instructor (Part-time)



Anticipated initial assignment is to be in Orleans County, NY.


The individual will provide literacy instruction and preparation skills for the High School Equivalency (HSE/GED) exam to adult literacy students.


Experience working with adults to improve literacy skills and prepare for employment is desired.


A bachelor’s degree in education or related field is required.


The individual should have or be eligible for certification upon hire.


It is anticipated that an individual will qualify for certification with successful completion of fingerprinting and three workshops.


Regular attendance and dependability are required.


Other Responsibilities May Be Assigned.
