Job Description
Job Responsibilities
Provides outpatient mental health services to TCCMHC patients, primarily adults, using diverse treatment interventions and methods, such as individual, family, and group therapies, assessments, crisis interventions, and case management. Meets agency productivity standards. Acts in a culturally competent manner. Ensures all assigned caseloads and clinical records are in accordance with SCDMH Quality Assurance (QA) standards. Adheres to Corporate Compliance policies and procedures. Utilizes collaborative documentation to facilitate effective and efficient provision of therapeutic services. Attends and participates in clinical treatment team staffing as scheduled. Attends total staffing, total clinical training, and other required meetings. Participates in assigned intra-agency committees. Performs other related duties as required or assigned.
Minimum And Additional Requirements
State Minimum Requirements: A master’s degree in guidance, counseling, the social sciences or a related field.
Agency Minimum Requirements: A master’s degree in guidance, counseling, the social sciences or a related field and professional experience in human services or social services. Must have a valid driver's license.

Preferred Qualifications
Licensure eligible in specific field of study. Knowledge of and ability to assess for treatment needs, develop complex treatment plans, and provide effective clinical interventions, including crisis intervention and individual, group, and family therapies. Knowledge of casework practices. Ability to organize and maintain a caseload. Knowledge of legal principles and practices. Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws or regulations pertaining to social service programs.

Tri-County CMHC is also an approved site of the National Health Service Corps, (NHSC), which offers student loan repayment of up to $50,000 to employees of NHSC-approved sites. You must be a US citizen, you must be licensed to practice independently in the state where you are hired, and you must have unpaid government or commercial school loans.
