Job Description
Friedman Vartolo LLP is a New York based real estate and default services law firm with 150+ employees across five states. The firm has been growing exponentially since its founding in 2016 and intends to continue this growth for years to come. The firm prides itself not solely on its superior legal product, but also on its innovative approach to business and problem solving.
As our size and footprint grow, the organizational and operational demands have followed suit. The managing partners are actively looking for an Administrative Assistant to serve as their "right-hand" to assist them in advancing the companies goals and initiatives. This is a new role within the firm and the right applicant must be a driven, diligent individual that enjoys working as part of a team. Recent college graduates with interest in business operations are ideal candidates.
Duties And Responsibilities Include
  • Attend meetings and strategy sessions with the managing partner, record action items, assist in completing and coordinating the same.
  • Run point on business and personal partner travel, conference attendance and sponsorship.
  • Work alongside managing partner on a wide range of additional initiatives and projects as needed and directed.
  • Function as the "right-hand person" to the managing partners including but not limited to managing their daily calendar, organizing, and preparing for meetings and strategy sessions.
  • Coordinate internal management meetings and mentorship program.
Requirements
  • Excellent for recent college or university graduates
  • Team player looking to be a part of something great
  • Capable of developing systems and procedures with little oversight
  • Willingness to ask question and get "hands dirty"
  • Comfortable taking ownership and proposing unique solutions
  • Willing and able to work full time in our Garden City office
Education And Experience
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
Compensation
  • $18+ per hour, depending on experience. We also offer a full benefits package including medical, dental, vision, fitness reimbursement, and 401K with match.
