Position Summary
The Chicago College of Performing Arts/Roosevelt University is seeking a part-time instructor to teach an online class, ARTM 475 – Fundamentals of Development – to graduate students in the Master’s in Performing Arts Administration Program for the upcoming fall semester, 8/28/23 to 12/16/23.
This class will be delivered fully online. There is no requirement for the instructor to be local.
Specific topics covered will be collaboratively decided upon by the faculty member and the Director of the Performing Arts Administration Program but may include: strategies and issues for fund raising and development in non-profit arts organizations, including public funding, grants, and philanthropic sources.


Job Duties
  • Timely submission of all grades.
  • Submission of a syllabus each semester (university-mandated template will be provided) documenting all class policies, expectations, procedures, and grading criteria.
  • Clear and timely communication.
  • Online delivery of course material, including creating assignments and evaluation of students’ work.
  • Consistent usage of Roosevelt University email address (to be assigned upon onboarding).
