Adjunct Faculty, Physical Therapy, Summer 2023

A Physical Therapist is needed to help with labs for the 4 credit Physical Technologies/Electrotherapy course in the DPT curriculum. The course has lab on Tuesdays 1-5pm during summer session 2 which runs for 6 weeks, July 10-Aug 19.

Assists the Course Director with teaching and supervising first year physical therapy students and foundational skills in the therapeutic application of thermotherapy, actinotherapy and mechanotherapy in the treatment of disorders involving the musculoskeletal, neuromuscular, cardiovascular, and integumentary systems and electrotherapeutic interventions for clinical treatment of individuals with musculoskeletal dysfunction, motor control deficits, acute and chronic pain, and other selected conditions. Electrophysiological testing will include electromyography and nerve conduction velocity evaluation.

DPT with WI licensure or eligibility. One-year clinical experience in an outpatient setting. Must have strong knowledge of interventions.

Outpatient experience preferred.
