Basic Function:

Kent State at Twinsburg Academic Center seeks to hire English composition adjuncts to teach primarily in-person during the day.

Examples of Duties:

Duties/essential functions may include, but not be limited to, the following:

Teach College Writing including College Stretch, College Writing, and Research Writing.

Minimum Qualifications:

18 graduate credit hours in English with 6 in rhetoric and composition plus one course in composition pedagogy.

Preferred Qualifications – if applicable:

M.A. English or Equivalent Degree

Working Conditions / Physical Requirements:

Light work-Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently to move objects. Incumbent must be able to communicate with others. Incumbent may be required to travel from building to building frequently and off campus occasionally.
