Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Activity Security Representative I to join our team at Colorado Springs, CO.


The Activity Security Representative’s primary function is to provide multi-disciplined security support to a customer’s facility and organization. The position will provide “day-to-day” support for Collateral, Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and Special Access Program (SAP) activities.


Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To


  • Assist in the processing of inbound data and outbound data transfer files.
  • Process magnetic media for accountability
  • Maintain various daily logs for a variety of administrative functions associated with document control.
  • Assist with researching, processing, filing, and maintaining inbound and outbound visit notices.
  • Processing inbound and outbound classified mail and receipt records
  • Classification reviews of inbound and outbound correspondence
  • Reproduction support for classified materials
  • Assist in the maintenance of facility access control entry systems, to include visitor control.
  • Conduct entry and exit inspections.
  • Provide support for the security awareness and education programs.
  • Assist in the preparation of facility access control badges.
  • Perform destruction of classified materials
  • Perform data entry to the Personnel Access Security System database and maintain all customer sponsored billets and quota information.
  • Escort facility visitors and maintains associated logs.
  • Maintain an extensive customer database point of contact listing.
  • Perform miscellaneous administrative support functions as directed by the contractor site lead and/or the Government Security Representative
  • Transfer electronic data files to internal customers.
  • Assist in maintaining personnel security files for all personnel of the supported element.
  • Assist in the maintenance of a document accountability database and associated correspondence.


Basic Qualifications


  • BS or BA degree or equivalent additional experience (4 years)
  • Must complete the DoD SAPCO approved SAPNP training within six months of starting on contract (if performing SAP personnel security functions)
  • Must complete JPAS training within six months of starting on contract (if performing SCI personnel security functions)
  • Must complete Joint Access Database Environment (JADE) training within six months of starting on contract (if performing SAP personnel security functions)
  • 2-4 years total experience, including minimum 1 3 years with SCI or SAR programs
  • SIMS database familiarity or complete training within six months of starting on contract (if performing document control functions)


Preferred Qualifications


  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
  • Possess a high degree of originality, creativity, initiative requiring minimal supervision.
  • DOD, military/civilian personnel and industry partners
  • Willingness to travel within the organizational Area of Responsibility (AOR) (note - could be
  • Extensive, and will include both air and ground transportation)
  • Must have the ability to work in a dynamic environment and effectively interact with numerous.
  • Documents.
  • Must be familiar with security policy/manuals and the appropriate and other guiding policy.


Physical Requirements


  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.
  • Frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.


Security Clearance Requirements


  • Eligibility for access to Special Access Program Information
  • Willingness to submit to a Counterintelligence polygraph.
  • Current Top-Secret Clearance with SCI Eligibility


The projected compensation range for this position is $84,700-$130,500. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories. In addition, ManTech invests in it’s employees beyond just compensation.
