Accounts Receivable Specialist - Orthodontics - Remote | Wfh

At our company, we're seeking a talented individual to join our team as an Orthodontic Accounts Receivable Specialist. In this role, you'll be responsible for managing claims from billing to resolution, ensuring timely follow-up on unpaid claims and meeting collection targets. You'll also handle pre-authorizations and pre-determinations to determine coverage for our valued patients.

Responsibilities
Review insurance EOBs and accurately update patient accounts
Process account adjustments with precision
Send out statements to ensure timely communication
Conduct follow-ups on past due accounts, including thorough audits
Utilize scripting for collection calls to maintain professionalism
Manage refund requests efficiently
Maintain accounts receivable within company set percentages
Record batch totals and ensure data accuracy
Balance batches and generate transaction reports
Ensure accuracy of patient data for smooth operations
Occasionally work overtime or outside of scheduled business hours
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred Experience In Orthodontic Accounts Receivable
Strong computer skills and ability to learn new programs
Knowledge and familiarity with insurance EOBs

Note: While this position allows for remote work, the ideal candidate should be able to reliably commute to our office in Smyrna, TN, at least once a month for team meet-ups.
