Job Description

Overview

The Account Coordinator is an entry-level position that is part of a team within the Account Management department. This Account Team is responsible for fostering and maintaining strong client relationships, providing an on-going synthesis of the client’s category, consumer and competitive challenges, as well as managing an integrated approach to all projects. The person in this role will have the opportunity to work on multiple accounts, and will support the team with implementation and activation of all tactical plans.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinating the client approval of all estimates, creative briefs and creative projects
  • Maintaining client status document with latest updates, and being able to communicate status to client (with team support)
  • Work closely with the Project Management Team.
  • Managing the execution of all tactical programs
  • Participating in communications strategy and marketing platform development
  • Performing a lead role in reviewing and analyzing material relative to client needs – competitive information, category trends, product/service information, etc.
  • Maintaining a thorough record of key communications between client and agency
  • Reviewing final creative work and other agency communications before distribution to client for consistency with the identified objectives, needs and brand standards
  • Gathering and organizing business and category data that informs the development of brand and communications strategies
  • Partnering with accounting and relevant departments to ensure accurate and timely client invoicing


Requirements

  • Confidence with budget & billing management
  • Self-starter and ability to effectively handle multiple assignments simultaneously
  • Exceptional listening, verbal and written communication skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Advertising or Strategic Communications
  • Strategic, curious and analytical mindset
  • Proven relationship-building skills
