The University of Florida Department of Anesthesiology, a top 5 public university and part of UF Health, headquartered in Gainesville, FL is searching for the best and brightest academic faculty for tenure Assistant/Associate/Full Professor and/or non-tenure track Clinical Assistant/Associate/Full Professor ranks to teach and practice at UF Health. Practice locations include UF Health Shands Hospital, Shands Children's Hospital, Shands Cancer Hospital, and Heart & Vascular Hospital.
Service Areas include:
- Congenital Heart Center
- Level I Trauma Center
- Level 4 NICU
- Cancer Center
- Comprehensive Stroke Center
- High risk OB
- Solid Organ Transplantation
Infinite opportunities exist for education, research, and discovery to shape the future of anesthesiology and perioperative medicine. Department anesthesiologists practice alongside 85 faculty anesthesiologists, 9 active research faculty, 88 residents, 25 fellows, 75 CRNA/CAAs and 40+ support and administrative staff. We support 67 operating rooms, 8 surgical ICUs, 16 NORA locations, and publish over 150 peer-reviewed publications a year.

Minimum Requirements:
- Credentials to obtain a State of Florida physician's license
