Job Description

Position: Intern—International Telecom Market Research
Location: Washington, DC
Pay: $17 per hour
Role: TeleGeography is hiring summer interns to conduct research and database updates in
support of several of our research products. Responsibilities include:

  • Survey collection, gathering primary data through both email and phone correspondence.
  • Research on international network infrastructure development and business
communications services.
  • Database management, conducting extensive updates of inter-related company datasets.

Requirements: We’re looking for current undergraduate/graduate students with the following
qualifications.

  • An inquisitive and analytical mind.
  • Strong research acumen and demonstrated strength in detail-oriented work.
  • Adeptness at navigating databases and spreadsheets with an eye for data analysis.
  • Foreign language skills are a plus, as much of the research will be conducted with

Due to the extraordinary circumstances surrounding the Covid-19 outbreak, this year’s
TeleGeography internship will be conducted in a hybrid office/remote work setting. Preference
will be given to candidates who are able to work in our D.C. office, but we will consider
exceptional candidates who are fully remote.
