Job Description
Position Summary:\ This faculty member will work in Red Cloud Indian School teaching, mentoring and working collaboratively with peers.\ RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:\ A. Essential Duties:\


  • Provide homework assistance to students\
  • Integrate Lakota and Ignatian spirituality into classroom pedagogy\
  • Other duties as assigned\ POSITION SPECIFICATIONS:\ A. Qualifications:\ ? Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education.\ ? SD Elementary Education Teacher Certification Preferred\ ? or Demonstrate applied for SD Elementary Alternative Certification
  • Teach assigned classes 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th grade\
  • Actively participate in staff meetings\
  • Participate in school activities including ASP 2 times per week\
  • Complete all student record keeping responsibilities including grading, assessments and behavior using the Infinite Campus system\
  • Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress\
  • Partner with other faculty\
