2D Drafter, 3D Modeler, As-Built Surveyor & As-Built Production Manager

LiDAR Precise Plans, a frontrunner in the domain of 3D scanning and as-built documentation, is looking for a multifaceted professional able to effectively perform as a 2D Drafter, 3D Modeler, As-Built Surveyor, and Multi-Site As-Built Production Manager.

This role is primarily remote, but will occasionally require in-person meetings for project discussions. The position also necessitates occasional travel to job sites across various cities in the Southwest region of the U.S.

Responsibilities Include:

• In the capacity of a 3D Modeler, you'll utilize your proficiency in modeling software and point cloud data to construct accurate, high-quality 3D models for various projects.
• As a Multi-Site As-Built Production Manager, your role will include meticulously checking measurements, converting hand-drawn surveys into CAD, collaborating closely with the Senior Team to integrate mockup details into CAD, and coordinating with Project Managers for quick turnarounds on small edits in CAD. You'll also oversee the execution of multi-site as-built plans, managing timelines and resources to ensure efficient strategy implementation and compliance with our program standards.
• Acting as an As-Built Surveyor, you'll conduct on-site surveys, gather critical data, prepare comprehensive as-built documentation, and occasionally perform on-site 3D scanning using cutting-edge 3D scanners. No prior experience with 3D scanners is necessary, as we will provide training. You'll also interpret and convert point cloud data into precise plans.
• As a 2D Drafter, you'll create detailed drawings, incorporate necessary revisions, and ensure the accuracy and comprehensiveness of all outputs. A significant aspect of this role involves crafting as-builts from point cloud data.

We are in search of candidates with a passion for architecture, holding one or more years of professional experience, or a degree in the AEC industry. You are intrigued by the intricacies of building construction and relish the challenge of reverse engineering existing structures into design-ready plans.
