Job Description
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Applicants must be willing and able to use standards-based instruction to meet the needs of students at their
individual levels.
  • Applicants must have documented excellent teaching skills and good attendance.
  • Prepare and plan for daily lessons and instruction.
  • Additional duties may be assigned.
  • Attend paid professional learning before the program starts and ongoing as needed.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Learn and follow rules and procedures pertaining to hygiene and safety
  • Assume reasonable job-related tasks as assigned by the supervisor in order to meet the needs of the school
  • Lean, wash, scrub as appropriate various kitchen utensils and equipment
  • Daily preparation of food for assigned school to include setting up serving lines and serving food
  • Regular and punctual attendance required
  • Empty trash/garbage containers and stock shipments of food and associated items
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
  • Ability to work independently with or without supervision
  • Ability to work with a significant diversity of individuals and perform effectively as a team member
  • Ability to follow oral and written instruction
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS TO PERFORM ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Walk/stand majority (85%) of work shift and stoop, bend, twist, turn, and reach on a regular basis
  • Adequate strength, dexterity, and agility to perform all tasks assigned
  • Lift and carry up to 50 pounds on a regular basis, depending on the job assignment
