Job Description
Performs various jobs in foundry concerned with the receipt of scrap material including weighing, transporting, storing and identifying.


  • Weighs material by use of scales
  • Loads and unloads materials, parts, or products onto or from pallets, skids, conveyors, or trucks.
  • 1-2 years manufacturing experience
  • Ability to complete assignments in a timely manner with attention to detail
  • Operates mobile equipment such as pay loaders, forklifts, and skid steers
  • Tests material as needed.
  • Handles a portion of maintaining of equipment by the process of Preventative Maintenance
  • Transports and stages material before and after processing procedure
  • Assist with processing of scrap through shredder or dryer.
  • Identify material for accuracy and identification
  • Problem Solving Skills
  • Marks and identifies material for processing
  • Basic math skills
