The role of a WMS developer involves working closely with warehouse operations teams and IT professionals to understand the specific requirements of the organization's warehouse management system. They are responsible for creating and customizing software solutions that automate various warehouse processes, such as inventory management, order fulfillment, shipping and receiving, and overall warehouse optimization.

A WMS developer typically has expertise in programming languages, database management, and software development frameworks. They may use languages such as Java, C#, or Python to write code and build customized modules or functionalities within the warehouse management system. They also work with databases to store and retrieve warehouse-related data effectively. Python to write code and build

Additionally, a WMS developer needs to have a solid understanding of warehouse operations and logistics to ensure that the software solution aligns with the organization's business processes and objectives. They may collaborate with other stakeholders, such as warehouse managers, supply chain professionals, and IT teams, to gather requirements, perform system testing, and provide ongoing support and maintenance for the WMS.

• 7+ years of solid experience in developing integration using tools and frameworks like SOAP and RESTFul web services, JMS asynchronous services, SMTP, (S)FTP, etc.,
• 7+ years of experience around technical, functional configuration and customization/extension/modification on WMS, LM, TMS package solutions
• 7+ years of experience on any or all Supply Chain and Logistics systems and/or solid experience in developing and/or implementing business applications for Retail Supply Chains
• Should have Solid experience in developing high performance and highly scalable applications.
• Should be proficient in drafting functional and technical design documentation.
• Should have excellent debugging skills and fixing issues within a short span of time with minimal support from leads.
• 7+ years of strong technical and implementation experience in one or more supply chain packaged solutions including but not limited to Manhattan, Korber, Blue Yonder, Oracle, SAP, etc.
• Should be proficient in driving functional and technical workshops.
• 3+ years of experience setting up Printers using CUPS configuration.
• 3+ years of experience with configuring and troubleshooting Voice Console and VoCollect devices.
• 3+ years of strong technical knowledge and experience with Dematic and /or Honeywell Intelligrated.
• In summary, a WMS developer is responsible for developing and maintaining software solutions that streamline and optimize warehouse management processes, helping organizations enhance operational efficiency, accuracy, and productivity in their warehouses.
• 3+ years of experience working on integrations between WMS and MHE systems.
• Strong skills on, RDBMS, SQL, and Unix Shell Scripts
