Required to accurately and efficiently operate and update yard management computer system

Additional availability for Saturday shift is required

CDL A, 12 Months Experience

$22/ hour Plus overtime pay $33/ hour after 40 hours

Minimum of 1-year tractor/trailer experience (3 axle tractor, 53' trailer)

Valid driver’s license. Clean driving record and insurable

Excellent work ethic & team player – levelheaded, detail-oriented, safety contentious, courteous, flexible, punctual, professional, and customer-focused.

No more than 3 pts. on license & no significant violations in the last three years.

CDL Class A License preferred, minimum six (6) months driving experience

On Board Computer/Electronic Log System Experience preferred

Strong oral and written communications skills

Moves tractor/trailers to and from loading / receiving doors of the Distribution Center.

Perform visual inspection of shuttle trailers for road readiness.

Direct all drivers to the correct/assigned door.

Previous yard hostling experience in a fast paced environment highly preferred.

A valid Utah Class A CDL license is required

Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds

1 year of verifiable tractor/trailer experience

Primary movement of 53’ dry vans

Base 45-hour week plus overtime

No DUI/OWI in the past 5 years

Tractor/trailer experience (3 axle tractor, 53' trailer)

Dock/warehouse experience in the transportation industry

Forklift experience in a freight/less-than-truckload environment

Experience loading and unloading trailers

Driver Yard Person, Starting at $31.90 hr

Level of Formal Education: Some high school

Years of Experience: Minimum/no experience

Move trailers with store returns from fence to returns dock.

Move empty trailers from returns to shipping.

Move empty outside trailers to fence.

Move loaded sealed trailers from shipping dock to fence line.

Knowledge of basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, & division)

Additional duties as assigned by manager

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Drive trailers to and from receiving/shipping docks inside the yard

Understand product description, SKU and PO numbers

Reading comprehension and ability to communicate in writing

Ability to balance team and individual responsibilities.

Minimum 3 years industry driving experience may be substituted for a high school diploma or GED.

Minimum 6 months related experience.

Forklift Driver Certification. DOT Dangerous Goods and Hazardous Materials Certification.

Load and unload freight by hand or by using manual equipment such as hand truck or pallet jack or forklift.

Verify and note the count and condition of cargo received, knowing when to refuse or accept with notation.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS / PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Pay rate: $23 per hour.

Good communication skills and attention to detail a must

Minimum two years of verifiable Commercial Driving experience.

Ability to stay within delivery windows for various delivery routes

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Assisting on the transportation department dock with inbound and outbound freight
