Warehouse Yard Associate 1St Shift Jobs

Inspects products for damages and reports issues to management.

HS Diploma or GED strongly preferred. 0-2 years of experience in area of responsibility.

Ability to understand written material.

Loads and unloads materials to and from designated storage areas, such as racks, shelves, or vehicles.

Fills customer orders using a pick list and prepares orders for shipment according to company standards.

Obtains merchandise from shelves or bins and verifies product and quantity accuracy.

Identify product shortages and out-of-stocks and report to store management.

Possess strong working knowledge of store security measures as they relate to delivery and yard operations.

Greet customers or professional contractors in a friendly manner upon entry into the yard or warehouse.

Operate forklift to merchandise and stock yard and warehouse.

Assist truck drivers in delivery of merchandise to homeowners and job sites using company equipment.

Unload incoming freight, taking care not to damage the incoming goods or the equipment that belongs to the carrier.

Experience with personal computer equipment.

Experience driving material handling equipment (Reach Truck, Cherry Picker, Forklift)

Adhere to corporate, departmental and regulatory operations and safety standards.

Maintain Class "A" Driver license, complies with all applicable Department of Transportation (D.O.T.) regulations.

Computer experience, such as order management systems including WMS.

Use handheld scanners and equipment for warehouse management system compliance.

Excellent computer skills, especially in Excel and other database systems.

Strong Interpersonal Skills, able to work alongside with multiple teams.

Experience with Tableau a plus.
